Extrusion divison

Extrusion of foils and sabs division has been recently added to IPA Group divisons.
The process is a continuous extrusion of raw materials such as:

high density poliethylene (PEHD): polyethylene, as polypropylene, belongs to polyolefine family. It has a high traction resistance.
It is easily processable and easily recycleble.

ethylen-vynil-acetate (EVA): it is obtained by ethylene and vynil-acetate polymerization. Mechanical features vary according to the percentage of vynil-acetate.
It is normally used to produce foils and slabs with good flexibility and high elesticity.

polyvynilchloride (PVC): it is obtained by vynil-chloride polymerizing. It is rubbery and has a high mechanical resistane, it is oil, grease and chemical agents resistant.
It is recycleble.

The product obtained is a foil or a slab with a variable predetermined thickness. It is possible to couple two or more raw material layers which differ in chemical properties or color.

Foils, which have a lower thickness, are sold in rolls (i.e. anti-sli foil for drawers); slabs of higher thickness (i.e. chopping boards) or foils which need further processing after extrusion (i.e. filters used for evaporative towers), are sold as finished products, assembled and packaged.
